Welding Inspector / Supervisor for Graduation Not Required Graduates (3-5 Yrs)

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Welding Inspector / Supervisor to join our team in Mangalore. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of all welded components in our furniture and furnishing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, codes, and standards, with a proven ability to supervise welding operations and inspect work effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 3-5 years of experience and a background that doesn't require a formal graduation degree to contribute to a leading manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide a team of welders to ensure efficient and safe welding operations.

Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) as required and interpret results.

Monitor welding parameters (e.g., amperage, voltage, travel speed) and ensure they are within acceptable limits.

Identify and report welding defects, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company procedures in the welding workshop.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve welding-related issues.

Oversee the proper selection and usage of welding consumables and equipment.
