Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented White Box Testing Engineer with 0-1 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. This role is ideal for recent M.Tech graduates passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems within the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive white box test cases to identify software defects and improve overall code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand software design and architecture to develop effective white box testing strategies.
- Analyze code and design test cases to cover various execution paths, conditions, and boundary values.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant programming languages.
- Execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers to understand code logic and facilitate defect resolution.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Prepare test reports and communicate test results to the project team.
