Workshop Manager / Supervisor

Role Summary: Nintendo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager/Supervisor to oversee the operations of our game development and hardware prototyping workshop. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our creative and technical teams, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workshop management principles, a passion for gaming, and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workshop staff, including technicians, engineers, and support personnel.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair of workshop machinery and equipment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation for various development and prototyping tasks.
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to understand their workshop needs and provide technical support.
- Train new staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to workshop personnel.
- Maintain detailed records of workshop activities, equipment usage, and inventory.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the workshop.
