Airport Duty Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Airport Duty Manager to oversee and manage airport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all airport activities. This role requires a unique blend of operational management, customer service excellence, and a creative approach to problem-solving, leveraging a B.Des background to enhance passenger experience and operational aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily airport operations, including flight handling, passenger services, and ground support.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, security, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and motivate a team of airport staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Handle and resolve operational issues and emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Monitor passenger flow and implement strategies to improve the overall passenger experience, incorporating design thinking principles.
- Collaborate with airlines, ground handlers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular inspections of airport facilities and services to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage resources, including staffing, equipment, and budget, to optimize operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the aesthetic appeal and functional design of airport spaces to enhance passenger comfort and brand image.
