Chief Accountant (M.Tech Required) - Kolkata

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chief Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join our finance team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, with an M.Tech degree preferred for advanced analytical capabilities. This role will be instrumental in managing the financial operations of our facility management services division.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and relevant regulations.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial performance and variances.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and corporate tax, and facilitate timely filings.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support the finance team in financial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills, potentially leveraging M.Tech knowledge, for complex financial modeling and problem-solving.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external financial institutions.
