Construction Materials Manager (2-4 Yrs) for L&T Construction

L&T Construction is seeking a motivated Construction Materials Manager with 2-4 years of experience and a BCA degree to join our dynamic team in Vijayawada. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement, management, and utilization of construction materials for our industrial equipment and machinery projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure construction materials according to project specifications and timelines, ensuring competitive pricing.

Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of materials while minimizing wastage and storage costs.

Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to forecast material requirements and delivery schedules.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Ensure the quality of materials received meets project standards through inspections and testing coordination.

Maintain accurate records of material purchases, inventory, and usage for reporting and auditing purposes.

Utilize IT systems and software (ERP, inventory management tools) for efficient material tracking and reporting.
