Construction Materials Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Construction Materials Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory, and management of all construction materials for our upcoming facility in Bhubaneshwar. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in material management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely availability of quality materials, optimizing inventory levels, and managing supplier relationships to support project timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement material management strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement and utilization of construction materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and manage material flow from procurement to site usage.
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for various construction materials, negotiating favorable terms and prices.
- Ensure all procured materials meet specified quality standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage the logistics of material transportation, storage, and handling on-site.
- Monitor material consumption and identify opportunities for waste reduction and cost savings.
- Prepare regular reports on material status, inventory levels, and procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.
