Electrical Engineer (1-3 Yrs) | Chennai

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree and 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the electrical systems and infrastructure within our clinical research facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles and their application in a research and development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
* Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime in laboratory and operational areas.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities management and research scientists, to support project requirements.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., GMP, GLP), and company policies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance records, and incident reports.
* Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new electrical technologies and energy-saving initiatives.
* Support the commissioning of new equipment and infrastructure from an electrical perspective.
