Job Description

Role Summary:
ONGC is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Electrocardiogram Technician with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree to join our corporate health services team in Jaipur. This unique role leverages advanced legal and analytical skills to ensure compliance with health regulations, manage medical records, and contribute to occupational health strategies within the demanding Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and the legal framework governing healthcare and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret electrocardiogram (ECG) tests accurately, ensuring high-quality data collection.
- Analyze ECG results in conjunction with legal and regulatory requirements, identifying potential health risks for employees.
- Develop and implement protocols for ECG testing and data management, ensuring compliance with national and international health standards.
- Review and interpret medical legal documents related to employee health, fitness for duty, and occupational health claims.
- Advise on legal implications of occupational health findings and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, adhering to data privacy laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with occupational health physicians, legal counsel, and HR departments to address employee health concerns.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ECG technology and relevant legal and regulatory changes in the healthcare sector.
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the development of health and safety policies, ensuring legal defensibility.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on ECG procedures and relevant legal considerations.
