Electroencephalographic Technician

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
- Apply electrodes to the scalp accurately and according to established protocols.
- Operate EEG equipment to record brain activity, monitoring for any artifacts or abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure proper functioning of the EEG machine.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including test results and observations.
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment for all procedures.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
