Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hand / Neck Surgeon with a Diploma qualification to join our occupational health team in Chennai. This role is crucial for providing specialized medical care to our workforce within the dynamic environment of the Ports & Shipping industry. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of occupational health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of hand and neck injuries and conditions relevant to industrial settings.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and post-employment medical examinations.
- Provide emergency medical care for acute injuries.
- Advise on injury prevention strategies and ergonomic assessments for port operations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Collaborate with HR and safety departments to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in hand and neck surgery and occupational medicine.
