Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join our legal team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree and have a foundational understanding of legal procedures, with a specific interest in civil litigation within the power sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior legal counsel in drafting pleadings, petitions, and other legal documents for civil cases.
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations pertaining to the power industry and civil matters.
- Manage and organize case files, evidence, and discovery materials.
- Support litigation proceedings, including preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, opposing counsel, and court officials.
- Analyze financial and commercial aspects of disputes, leveraging M.Com knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of litigation strategies.
