Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized microbiological testing on water, surfaces, and relevant materials to assess microbial contamination levels.
- Isolate, identify, and characterize microorganisms relevant to public health and safety in leisure environments.
- Develop and implement effective sanitation and disinfection protocols for facilities and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of all tests performed, results obtained, and corrective actions taken.
- Analyze microbiological data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in microbiology and relevant regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Participate in risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate microbiological hazards.
- Manage laboratory inventory, equipment calibration, and waste disposal procedures.
