Role Summary:

This role involves managing and optimizing various downstream processes within the banking sector, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal expertise and analytical skills to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex legal documents, regulations, and policies related to banking operations.
- Develop and implement downstream strategies to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on contractual agreements, financial instruments, and other legal matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, compliance, operations) to identify and resolve downstream process issues.
- Draft and review legal opinions, memos, and policy recommendations.
- Monitor changes in banking laws and regulations and assess their impact on downstream operations.
- Support the development and execution of risk management frameworks for downstream activities.
