Medical Officer - Manufacturing & Production Sector (2-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer with 2-4 years of experience to join our manufacturing and production facility in Nasik. This role is crucial for ensuring the health and well-being of our workforce. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of medical knowledge and legal understanding, holding an LLB degree, to navigate occupational health regulations and company policies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to employees in case of injuries or sudden illnesses.

Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and post-employment medical examinations.

Develop and implement health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws and occupational health standards, leveraging your LLB knowledge.

Manage the company's medical facility, including maintaining medical records, inventory of medicines and equipment.

Advise management on occupational health hazards and preventive measures.

Handle worker's compensation claims and medico-legal aspects related to workplace injuries, utilizing your legal background.

Educate employees on health, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Liaise with external medical professionals and hospitals when necessary.
