Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Service Assistant with 3-6 years of experience and a BBA/BBM degree to join our team in Coimbatore. The Patient Service Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless patient experience and efficient administrative operations within our healthcare support services, which are integral to our employee welfare programs within the Iron & Steel industry. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, manage appointments, and schedule consultations.
- Assist patients with registration, admission, and discharge procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Coordinate with medical staff, doctors, and other departments to ensure timely patient care.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and professionalism.
- Manage billing, insurance claims, and payment processing.
- Ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and administrative documentation.
- Uphold the company's standards of service excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the patient services department.
