Pipeline Control Center Operator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pipeline Control Center Operator with 6 years of experience and an M.Com degree to join our team in Mangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of natural gas through our pipeline network, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and their application in operational contexts, coupled with the ability to manage complex data and respond effectively to dynamic situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor real-time pipeline operations using SCADA systems and other control room equipment.
- Analyze operational data, including flow rates, pressures, and temperatures, to identify deviations and potential issues.
- Execute control strategies to optimize gas flow, maintain system integrity, and meet delivery commitments.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations, following established procedures.
- Coordinate with field operations, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all operational activities, incidents, and communications.
- Prepare operational reports, including performance analysis and incident summaries, leveraging financial acumen for cost-effective operational decisions.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.
- Participate in training programs and continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational improvements and best practices.
