Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process / Operational Excellence professional to join our team at IIM Calcutta. This role is crucial for optimizing our internal processes and enhancing operational efficiency across various departments. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills and understanding of business operations to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive sustainable change. This position is well-suited for individuals with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing operational workflows and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or similar frameworks.
- Design and document new standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand challenges, and implement solutions.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented processes, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to derive insights and support decision-making.
- Train staff on new processes and ensure smooth adoption.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Prepare reports and presentations on process performance and improvement initiatives.
