Schedulers (3-5 Yrs) role in Ports & Shipping

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Scheduler with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Visakhapatnam Port Authority. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in a relevant field and a strong understanding of port operations and logistics. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of vessels and cargo within the port premises.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed vessel schedules, berth allocations, and port call plans.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, stevedores, pilots, and other port stakeholders to optimize vessel turnaround times.
- Monitor vessel movements and port operations in real-time, identifying and resolving any potential delays or disruptions.
- Prepare and disseminate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and port procedures.
- Utilize port management systems and software for scheduling and tracking activities.
- Assist in contingency planning for unforeseen operational challenges.
