Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bankruptcy Associate with 3-5 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our legal team in Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and advising on all aspects of corporate bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings within the retail sector, ensuring compliance with Indian insolvency laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy and insolvency matters relevant to the retail industry.
Assist in the preparation and filing of all necessary legal documents, petitions, and applications for insolvency proceedings (CIRP).
Advise stakeholders, including the management and creditors, on legal strategies and implications related to financial distress and insolvency.
Represent the company in meetings with insolvency professionals, NCLT, and other regulatory bodies.
Monitor and ensure compliance with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016 and relevant regulations.
Liaise with external legal counsel and financial advisors as required.
Manage creditor claims, debt restructuring, and resolution plans.
