We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Biologist with 2-4 years of experience to join our Ports & Shipping operations in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will possess an MCA degree and have a strong understanding of biological principles applied to environmental impact assessments and compliance within the maritime sector. This role will involve monitoring ecological health, contributing to environmental management plans, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct biological surveys and sample collection in and around port facilities.
Analyze biological data using statistical software and present findings.
Assist in the development and implementation of environmental monitoring programs.
Evaluate potential biological impacts of port development and operational activities.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits related to biodiversity.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on environmental management initiatives.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in marine biology and environmental science.
