Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Formulation Scientist with 2-4 years of experience and a Doctorate/PhD degree to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the research, development, and optimization of advanced material formulations for cutting-edge aerospace applications. This role requires a strong understanding of chemical principles, material science, and formulation techniques, coupled with a passion for innovation and problem-solving within the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities to design and formulate novel materials for aerospace components, coatings, adhesives, or propellants.
- Optimize existing formulations to enhance performance, durability, and manufacturability while adhering to stringent industry standards.
- Perform detailed characterization of raw materials and finished products using advanced analytical techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy, thermal analysis).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, manufacturing specialists, and quality assurance personnel to ensure successful product development and scale-up.
- Troubleshoot formulation-related issues during development and production phases.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in material science, formulation chemistry, and aerospace technology.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal review and regulatory submissions.
- Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent applications and technical publications.
