Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our legal team in Nasik. This role will involve managing a portfolio of civil litigation matters, supporting senior legal counsel, and contributing to the resolution of legal disputes relevant to the investment banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil procedure and contract law, with a proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents. This position does not require post-graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and conduct civil litigation cases from inception to conclusion.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, petitions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal opinions.
- Represent the company in court hearings, conferences, and mediations.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and strategies in civil disputes.
- Manage external counsel and litigation budgets.
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
