Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Demand Planner with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. This role is crucial for forecasting future demand for our agricultural products and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet market needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles and a passion for the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in developing accurate demand forecasts for various seed varieties and agricultural inputs.
* Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify patterns and influences on demand.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather insights and align on forecast assumptions.
* Monitor inventory levels and work towards minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
* Generate regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory status, and key performance indicators.
* Support the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process by providing data-driven insights.
* Identify and flag potential supply chain risks and opportunities related to demand variability.
* Learn and apply demand planning tools and software to enhance forecasting accuracy.
