Environmental Consultant

Role Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Consultant with a Diploma in a relevant field and 3-6 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, developing and implementing environmental management systems, and advising on sustainable practices within our agrochemical operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian environmental regulations and a proactive approach to environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and existing operations.
- Monitor environmental parameters (air, water, soil quality) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and waste management strategies.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities.
- Advise on pollution control measures and technologies.
- Conduct environmental audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest environmental legislation and best practices in the agrochemical industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Assist in obtaining environmental clearances and permits.
