Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head - BD / Pre Sales to lead our business development and pre-sales efforts within the Indian Railways sector. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the railway industry, excellent commercial acumen, and a proven track record in business development and pre-sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets within the Indian Railways market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government tenders, public-private partnerships, and private sector projects in the railway domain.
- Lead the pre-sales process, including understanding client requirements, developing compelling proposals, and delivering impactful presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure accurate and competitive bid submissions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Indian Railways, government agencies, and other relevant industry players.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential threats and opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, pipeline, and sales forecasts to senior management.
- Mentor and manage a team of business development and pre-sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
