Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Data Centre Operations and Server Management professional with 1-2 years of experience, holding an M.Tech degree, to join our team in Guwahati. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data centre infrastructure, supporting server hardware and software, and contributing to the overall reliability and performance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor data centre environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power) and respond to alerts.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on server hardware, including racking, stacking, and cabling.
- Install, configure, and manage operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) on physical and virtual servers.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving server hardware and software issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Document data centre procedures and configurations.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and enhancements.
- Adhere to IT security best practices and company policies.
