Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geographic Information System / GIS professional with 2-4 years of experience and a Diploma to join our team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various GIS-related projects, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to spatial analysis and mapping initiatives within our BPO operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and updating of spatial databases and GIS layers.
- Perform data collection, cleaning, and validation using various GIS software and tools.
- Generate maps, reports, and visualizations for project requirements.
- Conduct basic spatial analysis, including buffering, overlay, and proximity analysis.
- Support field data collection efforts and ensure accurate georeferencing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and best practices relevant to BPO services.
