The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree and a keen understanding of journalistic principles, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills. You will play a crucial role in managing the daily news agenda, coordinating reporters, and ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of information across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor news sources, wire services, and social media for breaking news and developing stories.

Assign stories to reporters, ensuring efficient coverage and resource allocation.

Coordinate with editorial staff, producers, and field reporters to manage content flow.

Maintain an editorial calendar and track story progress.

Verify facts and ensure the accuracy and integrity of news content.

Assist in planning and executing news coverage for special events and assignments.

Manage logistics for field assignments, including equipment and travel arrangements.

Contribute to editorial meetings, offering insights and suggestions for news coverage.
