We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Manager - Upstream to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent MBA/PGDM graduate looking to kickstart their career in the import and export operations of a leading tyre manufacturer. You will gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing the upstream segment of our supply chain, focusing on procurement, logistics, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Support the planning and execution of inbound logistics operations, including customs clearance and transportation.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of upstream materials, optimizing stock to meet production demands while minimizing holding costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and finance, to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for efficiency gains.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and company policies.
- Support in vendor management and performance evaluation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies for the upstream supply chain.
