Immediate Hire: Third Officer / Mate (2-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a diligent and qualified Third Officer / Mate with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma and have a strong understanding of maritime operations, safety protocols, and vessel management. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our industrial machinery and equipment transport vessels. As a Third Officer / Mate, you will support the Chief Officer and Master in all aspects of ship operations, contributing to the smooth functioning of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer and Master in the day-to-day operations of the vessel.
- Maintain navigational equipment and charts, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
- Supervise and coordinate deck crew activities, including cargo operations, watchkeeping, and maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to all maritime safety regulations, including SOLAS and ISM Code.
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the vessel's structure, equipment, and safety systems.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of ship operations, cargo, and crew activities.
- Assist in inventory management of deck stores and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental protection regulations.
