Immediate Hire: Ward Clerk (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Ward Clerk with 3-5 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree. The Ward Clerk will be responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks within our Chandigarh operations, ensuring smooth data flow and efficient record-keeping. This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in data management software, leveraging your MCA background to enhance departmental efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update patient records and demographic information accurately in the hospital information system (HIS).
- Schedule appointments, consultations, and diagnostic tests for patients.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Coordinate with medical staff, nurses, and other departments to facilitate patient care.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes, emails, and phone calls.
- Process billing and insurance claims, verifying information and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare reports on patient statistics, bed occupancy, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as data privacy regulations.
- Utilize your MCA knowledge to identify areas for process improvement and implement technological solutions for data management and reporting.
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and stationery for the ward.
