Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Crime Analyst to join our growing team at Pepperfry. This role is ideal for recent graduates with an M.Tech degree and 0-2 years of experience who are eager to contribute to the prevention and detection of financial crimes within the e-commerce furniture sector. You will be instrumental in protecting the company and our customers from fraudulent activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monitoring and analysis of transactions for suspicious patterns indicative of fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes.
- Support the investigation of alerts generated by fraud detection systems, gathering and analyzing relevant data.
- Help in the development and refinement of fraud detection rules and models.
- Conduct research on emerging financial crime trends and typologies relevant to the e-commerce industry.
- Prepare reports on findings and assist in case management activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including payments, operations, and customer service, to address and mitigate financial crime risks.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to financial crime prevention.
