Occupational Health & Safety - Other (2-4 Yrs) role in Water Treatment / Waste Management

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Occupational Health & Safety professional with a B.Des degree and 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Guwahati. This role will focus on developing and implementing innovative safety and design solutions within our water treatment and waste management projects, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of safety protocols and procedures for site operations, considering ergonomic and human-centered design principles.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and recommending design-based mitigation strategies.
- Develop safety training materials and visual aids, leveraging design thinking for effective communication.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the design phase of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, contributing to a data-driven approach to safety improvement.
- Stay updated on relevant OHS regulations and best practices, translating them into practical, user-friendly safety solutions.
- Maintain safety documentation and records.
