Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree and have 4-6 years of relevant experience. This role is crucial for supporting our internal health and wellness programs, ensuring accurate and efficient blood sample collection for various diagnostic and research purposes within our organization. You will work closely with our medical and administrative teams to maintain high standards of patient care and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection accurately and efficiently from diverse patient populations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including universal precautions, infection control measures, and proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
- Label all collected samples correctly with patient information, date, and time of collection.
- Prepare samples for transport to the laboratory, ensuring proper storage conditions and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including collection details and any adverse events.
- Sterilize and maintain phlebotomy equipment and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or anxieties.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest phlebotomy techniques, safety guidelines, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in basic laboratory procedures or data entry as required, leveraging M.Sc background.
- Contribute to the overall health and wellness initiatives of the company.
