Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join our Legal team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and have a strong understanding of financial markets, legal frameworks related to credit, and risk assessment methodologies. This role involves evaluating creditworthiness, assessing potential risks in financial transactions, and providing legal insights to mitigate exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments for new and existing clients and transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial statements, market data, and other relevant information to determine credit risk profiles.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and legal teams.
- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify potential areas of concern or early warning signs.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and business development teams to structure transactions and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Advise on the legal implications of credit decisions and ensure that all credit-related documentation is accurate and legally sound.
- Stay abreast of changes in economic conditions, industry trends, and regulatory landscapes that may impact credit risk.
