Recruiting for EHS Officer - Courier / Logistics Team (3-5 Yrs)

We are seeking an experienced EHS Officer to join our dynamic team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment within our courier and logistics operations. This role requires a strong understanding of EHS principles and a proactive approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures tailored for a logistics environment.

Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measures.

Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and national environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels.

Manage environmental aspects, including waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational planning and decision-making.

Maintain EHS records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and audit findings.

Stay updated on EHS best practices and emerging trends, particularly within the logistics sector.
