Role Summary:
As a Social Worker at TCS Ahmedabad, you will leverage your LLM degree and 1-3 years of experience to contribute to our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and employee well-being programs. You will play a crucial role in understanding community needs, developing impactful projects, and ensuring the ethical and effective implementation of our social programs, aligning with TCS's commitment to societal betterment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs assessments and research to identify social issues and opportunities within the Ahmedabad community relevant to TCS's CSR focus areas.
- Develop project proposals and implementation plans for CSR initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, CSR team, legal) and external partners (NGOs, community leaders, government agencies) to execute social programs.
- Provide support and guidance to employees participating in volunteer activities or facing social challenges.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of CSR projects, collecting data and preparing reports on outcomes and learnings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant social welfare laws and regulations in India.
- Facilitate workshops and awareness sessions on social issues for employees and community members.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all social work activities.
