Tender Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Tender Manager to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire tender process, from identification and qualification to submission and follow-up. This role requires a strong understanding of tender documentation, bid preparation, and a strategic approach to securing new business opportunities within the EdTech sector. A B.Pharma background is essential for understanding the nuances of certain educational content and regulatory aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze tender opportunities relevant to upGrad's offerings, particularly those with a focus on health sciences or professional development.
- Prepare comprehensive and compliant tender proposals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted within deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, legal, technical, finance) to gather necessary information and inputs for bid preparation.
- Review tender documents, identify risks and opportunities, and develop winning bid strategies.
- Manage the tender submission process, ensuring adherence to all stipulated requirements.
- Maintain a database of all submitted tenders, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, educational institutions, and other potential clients involved in tender processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in procurement policies and regulations.
