Town / Urban Planner - Automobile Sector (2-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Town / Urban Planner with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. This role is crucial in supporting our company's strategic planning and development initiatives within the automotive sector, focusing on urban integration and infrastructure development related to our facilities and operations. While the core role is urban planning, we are looking for candidates with a strong analytical and data management background, often cultivated through a BCA degree, to leverage technology and data in planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of urban planning projects and strategies for automotive manufacturing facilities and related infrastructure.
- Conduct research and analysis on demographic trends, land use patterns, transportation networks, and environmental factors within urban and semi-urban areas relevant to our operations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and visualizations using data analysis tools and GIS software to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and government liaison, to integrate planning insights into project development.
- Support in obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance for development projects.
- Utilize BCA-level analytical skills to manage and interpret complex datasets for planning purposes.
- Contribute to site selection analysis and feasibility studies for new projects or expansions.
- Stay updated on urban planning best practices, relevant legislation, and technological advancements in the field.
