Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Inspector / Supervisor with a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in welding inspection and supervision within the industrial automation sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all welding operations, adhering to stringent industry standards and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with design specifications, applicable codes (e.g., ASME, AWS), and project requirements.
- Interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide welding activities.
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Dye Penetrant Testing, or supervise NDT personnel.
- Monitor welding processes, parameters, and materials to ensure optimal quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and guide a team of welders and technicians, providing technical support and ensuring safe work practices.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, including reports, test results, and non-conformance documentation.
- Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to address welding-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a safety-conscious work environment.
