Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and legally astute Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our corporate hospitality bar in Ahmedabad. This role requires a unique blend of management skills, legal understanding, and a keen eye for detail, ideal for an individual with 2-6 years of experience and an LLB degree.

Role Summary:
The Bar Manager will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the bar, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, managing inventory, staff, and customer service. The legal background is crucial for navigating licensing, contracts, and potential disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation, to minimize waste and ensure adequate supply.
- Develop and implement bar menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national laws and regulations pertaining to alcohol service, licensing, and food safety.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage budgets, track sales, and prepare financial reports.
- Review and advise on vendor contracts, service agreements, and other legal documentation related to bar operations.
- Assist in resolving any legal or compliance issues that may arise.
