Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer / Senior Buyer with 1-3 years of experience and a BCA degree to join our procurement team in Nasik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing a variety of goods and services essential for our power generation operations. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost-effectiveness, aligning with NTPC's commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of tender documents, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and RFPs (Request for Proposals).

Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their credentials, and maintain a database of approved vendors.

Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure value for money.

Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.

Manage inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast material requirements.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and prepare regular reports for management.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
