Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and diligent individual to join our team as an Employee Health and Safety Management Trainee. This role is ideal for a recent Diploma holder looking to gain practical experience in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees at our Coimbatore campus. You will work closely with the HR and Facilities teams to implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and inspections.
- Support the organization of health and safety awareness programs and drills.
- Respond to and investigate employee health and safety concerns.
- Assist in accident/incident investigations and recommend preventive measures.
- Keep abreast of relevant Indian health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of first-aid equipment and emergency supplies.
