Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and legally astute Civil Servant to join our esteemed organization in Delhi. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all relevant government regulations, policies, and legal frameworks pertaining to our operations in the consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Indian administrative law and public policy, coupled with the ability to navigate complex governmental interactions. This position requires 4-6 years of experience and an LLB degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret all new and existing government policies, laws, and regulations affecting the company's business in India.
- Liaise with government agencies, ministries, and regulatory bodies on behalf of the company.
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the company's adherence to all legal and ethical standards.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports to government authorities.
- Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and other official engagements with government officials.
- Conduct risk assessments related to regulatory changes and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of political and economic developments that may impact the company's operations.
