Collection Executive / Officer (2-4 Yrs) | Thiruvananthapuram

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Collection Executive / Officer to join our finance team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to debt collection within the metals and mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and reduce outstanding accounts receivable by contacting customers via phone, email, and mail.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlement terms with delinquent customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on aging receivables, collection progress, and potential bad debts for management review.
- Collaborate with the sales and accounting departments to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant debt collection regulations.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness and report any identified risks.
