Commodity Manager - Law Enforcement / Security Services (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Commodity Manager with 1-3 years of experience and a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our Procurement department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing, procurement, and supply chain of various commodities essential for our law enforcement and security operations. This role requires a strategic approach to cost management, vendor relations, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of materials, with a unique perspective brought by a design education.

Key Responsibilities:

*   Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for diverse security and operational equipment, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
*   Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize costs and improve the quality of procured commodities.
*   Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to achieve the best terms and conditions.
*   Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supplier performance to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
*   Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Technical teams) to understand their commodity needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
*   Utilize design thinking principles to assess the usability, ergonomics, and aesthetic appeal of procured equipment where applicable.
*   Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient supply chain operations.
*   Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance.
*   Assist in the development of procurement strategies and contribute to process improvements.
