Electrical Engineer (Mining)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree to join our dynamic team in Indore. This unique role bridges the gap between technical engineering expertise and financial acumen, focusing on the economic and operational aspects of electrical systems within the mining sector. You will be responsible for analyzing cost-effectiveness, optimizing resource allocation, and contributing to strategic financial planning related to electrical infrastructure and projects in mining operations. This position is ideal for an individual with 5 to 5 years of experience who possesses a strong understanding of both electrical engineering principles and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis of electrical equipment and systems in mining operations, including cost-benefit analysis, lifecycle costing, and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
- Develop and manage budgets for electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to financial targets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze energy consumption patterns and propose strategies for energy efficiency and cost reduction in mining electrical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts for electrical equipment and services, considering both technical specifications and financial implications.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for management, detailing the financial performance of electrical operations and projects.
- Monitor market trends and commodity prices impacting the cost of electrical components and materials, and advise on procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards within the mining industry.
- Support the development of business cases for new electrical engineering initiatives, incorporating financial projections and risk assessments.
- Utilize your M.Com knowledge to interpret financial data and translate technical requirements into financial terms for stakeholders.
