Geophysicist

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Geophysicist with an M.Sc. degree and 1-3 years of experience to join our Agri-Business division in Gurgaon. The role involves applying geophysical principles and techniques to support our agricultural operations, focusing on soil analysis, water resource management, and geological surveys relevant to food production. You will contribute to optimizing land use, understanding subsurface conditions, and ensuring sustainable agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct geophysical surveys (e.g., GPR, resistivity, seismic) to assess soil properties, groundwater potential, and subsurface geological structures relevant to agricultural land.

Analyze geophysical data using specialized software to interpret subsurface conditions and identify potential challenges or opportunities for agricultural development.

Collaborate with agronomists, soil scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate geophysical findings into land management and crop planning strategies.

Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for water resource management, including aquifer characterization and irrigation planning.

Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of survey results and recommendations.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in geophysical techniques and their applications in agriculture.
