Hiring for Network Security Engineer at Chandigarh

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our IT team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network infrastructure, ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect our sensitive biotechnology data and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in network security principles and a B.Sc. degree.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.

Assist in the implementation and configuration of network security solutions.

Respond to security alerts and incidents, perform initial investigation, and escalate as needed.

Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

Assist in developing and documenting security policies and procedures.

Support the IT team in managing user access controls and ensuring compliance with security standards.
